About Comuna
Sean Morris is the architecht behind Comuna Management Systems. Sean is a database developer and community organizer with a deep interest in working on community housing projects. As a affiliate of Katie McCamant's 500 Communities Program, Sean has received extensive training on the technical aspects of cohousing development. Sean's interest in cohousing goes back many years, including a trip across the country to see communities in Colorado, Virginia, Kansas, Tennessee, and California. Prior to his work in cohousing, Sean worked for many years at Abt Associates in Cambridge, MA, a $510 million social science research firm, where he supported numerous federal research initiatives in housing development and served as the Deputy Director of the Annual Homeless Assessment Report to Congress. Sean completed a Masters Degree in Community Development and Applied Economics at the University of Vermont in 2018.
